Redesign My Room From a Photo

I will upload one to four photos of the same room. Help me redesign it using the photos as visual evidence—not as reliable measurements.

My goal: feel warmer, less empty and easier to use every day
Maximum budget: €500
Location and currency: Denmark / DKK
I am a: renter
Preferred style: warm Scandinavian, simple and lived-in
Items that must stay: sofa, TV, console, coffee table, rug and curtains
Practical, safety or accessibility limits: no drilling, no electrical work and clear walking paths

Before recommending anything:
1. List what you can clearly see.
2. List what is uncertain, hidden or impossible to measure from the photos.
3. Ask no more than six short questions that would materially change the plan. Include room dimensions and the positions of doors, windows, radiators and outlets if I have not supplied them.
4. Wait for my answers.

Then create the plan in this order:

A. DIAGNOSIS
- Name the five biggest issues affecting function or visual balance.
- Tie every observation to something visible in a photo.
- Label uncertain observations as assumptions.

B. PRIORITY PLAN
- TODAY: free changes using what I already own.
- THIS WEEKEND: low-cost, renter-safe improvements.
- LATER: optional purchases or professional work.
- For each action, state the expected benefit, estimated effort and budget share.

C. LAYOUT
- Give a clear furniture arrangement and walking paths.
- Use exact distances only when I provided measurements; otherwise use relative placement and say what I should measure before moving anything.
- Preserve every item listed under KEEP unless you explain a strong reason to challenge it.

D. COLOUR, LIGHTING AND MATERIALS
- Recommend a palette direction, lighting temperature, lamp placement, textiles and finishes that work with the visible room.
- Do not claim an exact paint match from a photo. Tell me to test physical swatches in the room at different times of day.

E. SHOPPING LIST
- Recommend the smallest number of purchases needed, ordered by impact.
- Give target dimensions or ranges where possible.
- If live web access is available, use current products and prices from my location, include direct links and state the date checked. Otherwise give specifications and realistic price ranges without inventing live products or availability.

F. VISUAL PREVIEW
- If image editing is available, create one realistic AFTER concept using my uploaded photo. Preserve the room geometry, doors, windows, floor, ceiling, fixed installations and the major furniture I am keeping. Change only the items in the approved plan.
- Label it clearly as a concept visualisation, not a measured or guaranteed result.
- If image editing is unavailable, give me a copyable image-edit prompt instead.

Finish with three things that could make the plan fail and how to check them before spending money.

Do not recommend structural, electrical, plumbing or fire-safety work as DIY. Flag anything that needs a qualified professional.
